Hollywood Toddler – Denver Children’s Photographer

You know that moment… The light is beyond perfect right before dusk.  So you grab your kid that doesn’t smile at a camera, toss her in a new dress, and run out to the closest ‘far away’ spot from your home.  I grabbed her stunnas as I closed the car door and we start tromping across milkweeds to the top of a little hill.  Seeds gently fly around my sweet girl.

It’s perfect… She’s perfect… Now for cooperation.  Ha!  Anyone who knows my daughter, knows that she just doesn’t smile for cameras.  She’s been in the spotlight consistently for a while and just isn’t interested.  She looks away, looks down, runs away, walks too fast towards me, or is just in a foul mood.  Last night, I just wanted her to be her, and the stunnas seemed to help.  Maybe it was similar to the scene from Big Daddy where Julian has to put his sunglasses on to speak to the court?  Maybe it was the atmosphere, the seeds floating around my baby… Maybe, I just caught her in a decent mood.

Whatever… it was, it was amazing.  Here are a few from the set, the rest are processing and will be posted soon on the new site.

These shots are adorable!

LOVE her smile and the ubber cute glasses. I love how you came down to her level and gave her the stance of superiority, very nice and great processing. Love your work.

Seriously, such a beautiful kiddo! I love the innocence and sense of fun children bring to a picture. Awesome!
