Got friends?
Right now, you and a friend can book individual sessions for your family or children, and both of you will receive the normal print credit ($200)! How fantastic is that!*
This is for a limited time only, and spots will fill up fast, especially on a 2fer special such as this. If you are thinking about getting portraits done, this would be the opportunity! Please click here to read about the rates.
What are you waiting for?

*Both parties must reserve their session with a $50 retainer which is non-refundable. Both sessions must be scheduled the same day, but sessions may be conducted on separate days if you wish. Because of the discounted session for this particular special, if one party forfeits their retainer and cancels their session, the other party will NOT receive any print credit.

My pretty girl is one today. I cannot believe how quickly that year went by. Seems literally like yesterday I was curling her up for newborn pictures. Natalie has almost 4 teeth, has no desire to walk, is very stubborn and independent (like me
) and has recently learned to climb our stairs… Up but not down. She is terrified of falling down it seems, but not of heights. We’ve recently learned of her new found love for “George”, Aunt Jenny would be so happy to know her Curious George gift is going towards much use of comfort during naps and bedtime.
While I may be biased, our Natalie Pearl is such a bright little girl. We love you so much sweetie-pea, and you lighten the whole family, bringing a sense of “girl” back into our masculine family. You are able to melt hearts with one glance of your bright, blue eyes and your sweet ginger hair. How I love you little one. Grow, grow, grow…. just not too fast.
Lots of sweet pictures to share. I put Nat in her fancy red polka dot pants, packed up Jayden and Devin and we headed down to my favorite spot. We’d probably not been out but 5-7 minutes and I must have stirred a mosquito nest! We were swarmed much like bees, and my boys booked it down the dirt road screaming like little girls. Meanwhile, Natalie is happy as a lark, just looking around. Not much longer they were just too bad, so we packed up in a hurry, to find about 30-40 skeeters in the car! It was horrid, so my 3 squealing girls
and I opened the windows and sunroof and sped down the road. Most the skeeters were sucked out, but I still had to kill a good ten or so.
Always a good story behind cute pictures!

A few months ago I was asked to speak at the AMVETS of Illinois convention for OpLove. YAY! So, today Craig and I packed up, kissed the kids, and shipped our way up to Springfield, IL. What a cruddy day of traveling. After running through Denver and O’Hare (which I despise!!) we finally made it safely to Springfield 3 hours later then expected. Along the way, Craig managed to loose his wedding ring in DIA Security, and I lost a diamond earring. Awesome huh!
Anyway, here we are FINALLY!! Springfield is stunning! There are so many trees! And the city itself has that very old, calming feeling… like Telluride or Golden.
We are staying at the BEAUTIFUL President Abraham Lincoln Hotel, on the 12th floor (we have a secret card LOL it’s like being a celebrity! LOL and probably the closest I’ll ever get!) Craig and I went to a little ma and pa’s Italian restaurant called Joe Gallina’s… YUMMY!
Tomorrow I’ll be speaking at the luncheon for the AMVETS… I feel so very honored to be here. The gift basket was amazing! How’d they know we are such fans of Jelly Belly’s
Saturday night, I’ll speak again for the dinner.
Please stay tuned. I have pictures… I’m just too exhausted to download them. I have to set up a booth for the folks tomorrow a.m. and just get some much needed rest. I have a feeling I’m starting to ramble… I guess I should sign off a bit– after I upload a slideshow.
xoxo

I’ve been home full time with my kids and my photography for 2 weeks. It’s been quite the adjustment so far, but man… Being home with my kids is, wow. You just don’t realize what you had until it’s given back to you.
