This mama to be is actually Hunter’s best friends sister! We’ve known the family for a few years, and couldn’t be happier for thier upcoming addition! Shortly after I left Denver for Arkansas, Terese delivered a beautiful healthy little boy.

During my online consult, I always ask a semi-personal question about my clients family,
What do you want your children to remember about their childhood?
When the parent comes back saying,
I would like them to come away from childhood with an appreciation for each other – one which I don’t think they really have now. They are only 18 months apart, and they tend to “nip” at each other. I am hopeful that when they get older, they will be each other’s best friend, but at the moment that seems a million miles away.
I know that I’m going to have my hands full.
Actually, it went pretty well! Mom was right tho, it was difficult for me to get the kids to interact with eachother, if they knew I was attempting them to do that. However, if we were a ways away, it’s clear that they still are linking by that brother/sister bond.
I really liked getting to know this family. The were one of my last served Denver clients, certainly not the last… last. You know what I mean

We are on our way home from a week in Orlando. While Craig was in “class” most days the kids and I spent our time with friend Holly Jean at poolside. We spent the week at the Carib Royal Resort… amazing. About Wednesday I managed to get some severe allergies which went into a sinus infection and may be headed towards a cold. I’m fighting it off as we drive with some amazing menthol products and good drugs. I hope it doesn’t further develope and can keep my busy week ahead.
We’re ready to get home I think, its been a long week and one too many bloody marys. I hardly saw the boys, the were such fish. Anyway, we’re on our way, somewhere in Alabama as I write this on my phone.
Just in case I hadn’t mentioned Craig is the new Air Force Reserve Recruiter at Little Rock AFB. They are bringing in a brand new squadron to the base with several jobs that will need filled. How cool would it be to work on a C130 or C5. The planes are amazing!

I set out yesterday with this session to capture how close these two are for their mom. It’s been a while since they had any portraits taken of the girls, and I hope that I have exceeded their expectations.

Just a few days before we took off from Denver to Arkansas, I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting and loving on Little Miss A and her sweet family. She shared so many wonderfuly things with me…. baby sighs, and sweet z’s… I can honestly say that nearly every newborn has peed on me… But Lil A gave me special treatment, all 3 p’s.
Doesn’t matter she’s amazing. I’m sure she looks completely different now, but at the time I could see so much of her daddy in her <3 who’s protecting our country, I can’t wait for him to see the pictures of his beautiful 3 ladies!

Amazing, apeture (that was a good one!), antiques, apples… Awesome and Ailan! And he is AMAZINGLY HANDSOME! How sweet is he, right?! We had so much fun at the Morrison Nature Center in Colorado. The lighting was perfect, during magic hour of course when all the little sun faeries come out… I love magic hour.

Good Morning, Friends! Good… goood… good…. gooooooooooooooood! If I keep saying it, it is, right.
Last night, while deleting my home slide show images to upload some fresh amazingness for today’s Groupon Special… my Sony Vaio crashed again, hard. It won’t boot. This is so frustrating to me, because then I spend hours getting it to work again, instead of what I need to do, but I need my laptop today! So at 12.36am guess where I was? On the floor in front of the kids computer researching as to what is going on with this Sony, and waiting for it to freshly install Windows 7.
By that time, I had one purchase for this weekends AMAZING special! Apparently I have a few more fans in Arkansas then I thought – which I am SOO grateful for!
The special is a Groupon. This is my second time participating with Groupon, so I know my ropes here you guys. Experienced Groupon Vendor. hehe. Is that good?! Well, for you it is. Hurry and get your Groupon, because there are only 300 of them!
Anyway, while I was researching and formatting, I found out that Sony doesn’t really like Windows 7. Apparently there are some fairly good sized driver issues… like, them being non existant. AWESOME! Cause that’s all I have, Win7.
So bear with me, everyone while I’m on a computer that isn’t ‘mine’. I’m waiting for Microsoft to open.

Attention please!!
We have INTERNET!! It’s amazing… this little town has totally fallen into our hearts. The neighbors (even boat and mini-van guys) are awesome, and it’s so welcoming to have people come to our front door to introduce themselves (Melissa, and thank you Marcus for telling Melissa about us!)
Craig and I decided to enroll the kids back into public school because Vilonia has the best, yes the #1-3 schools in the STATE! AWESOME! We were thrilled! They are thrilled! Seriously! YAY!
So, I have had a few moments to scour the area a bit for some good photo ops with the girl… and the boys – tho it’s hard to unpry them from playing. New friends are apparently good! We have also attended one of many to come high school football games, not 8 man HAHA, and let me tell you, this little town is.so.Nucla! H.S. Sports are a BIG thing here! LOOVE IT!

Before anyone starts a witch hunt… Groupon is great, and if you want to know anything about it (goods and bads) and incorporating your business into a Groupon please ask me. They are a fairly new organization, and every org will have it’s kinks as they figure out what works and what doesn’t. I will have ran 2 successful promotions here shortly. And yes, you CAN cap the amount sold so you’re not working for pennies or unable to fulfill the needs of clients…. You CAN have a successful promotion, and you CAN meet many new, fantastic clients that otherwise wouldn’t know about you.

Hello! I actually found you through your Groupon promotion. I signed up for Little Rock Groupons recently, as I will be moving to a small town west of Mountain View, Arkansas after I get married in November. (Moving from Fort Worth, Texas, so a bit of a different environment!)
I’m a photographer too! And looking to figure out a way to get clients…sounds like Groupon may be a good idea. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself to a fellow small-town Arkansas photographer!

I guess it’s official! We made it to Arkansas. It’s 922 miles from Denver and a painful 12 hour drive for small children. The last 2 hours Natalie screamed. She wanted out of her seat so badly. Miserable, that’s the only word I have right now.
I realize that what I had wrote here, may have offended some people. That was truly not my intentions and I appologize for any hurt feelings. We do love Arkansas… And I’ll be honest, I was very skeptical that I would. But you all have proven me wrong, clearly… We do love it here.
