During my online consult, I always ask a semi-personal question about my clients family,
What do you want your children to remember about their childhood?
When the parent comes back saying,
I would like them to come away from childhood with an appreciation for each other – one which I don’t think they really have now. They are only 18 months apart, and they tend to “nip” at each other. I am hopeful that when they get older, they will be each other’s best friend, but at the moment that seems a million miles away.
I know that I’m going to have my hands full.
Actually, it went pretty well! Mom was right tho, it was difficult for me to get the kids to interact with eachother, if they knew I was attempting them to do that. However, if we were a ways away, it’s clear that they still are linking by that brother/sister bond.
I really liked getting to know this family. The were one of my last served Denver clients, certainly not the last… last. You know what I mean
